Washington State has partnered with Truth Initiative to offer This is Quitting, a quit vaping text message program for young people ages 13-24. The first-of-its-kind program dedicated to helping young people be free from nicotine addiction has had over 500,000 young people enroll since its launch in 2019.

The program is confidential and free to all users, tailored on age, type of e-cigarette, and quit journey progress. To get started, a young person can text VAPEFREEWA to 88709.
To receive counseling:
Washington State resident Ready to quit within 30 days or already quit Uninsured or underinsured (no telephone counseling benefit)
To receive medication:
Age 18+ Must be enrolled in counseling No medical contraindications Not pregnant
