To receive counseling:
All Illinois residents 13 years of age and older are eligible to receive counseling.
To receive medication:
All Illinois residents 18 years of age and older are eligible to receive NRT who have limited or no insurance or are on Medicare.
To receive combination therapy:
Combination therapy available to enrolled callers who are eligible.
Additional Info:
Medicaid Clients: The Illinois Tobacco Quitline is providing a free 2-week starter set of over-the-counter Nicotine Replacement Therapy (patches, gum, or lozenges) two times per year to clients that report having Medicaid as their primary health insurance and are interested in receiving NRT to support their quit attempt.

The following types of callers do not qualify for the NRT program:
